Sri Jayakrishna Tripathy, a prominent writer and odia poet of odia literature arena, was born in Khajuripada of Puri District on 4^th Jan 1948 “BAKULA Amabasya” day. After his graduation he joined as Junior Engineer in Department of Telecommunication (NOW BSNL) and retired as an Asst. General Manager. He is a regular contributor to Pragatibadi, Samaja, Kadambini, Kholadwar and Samahara. He is a prominent columnist of Odia Dailies. From his school Days he started his writings in Odia and has five Poetry and Two story books at his credit. He has been awarded by different Literary organisations of Odisha for his contribution to odia literature.
